Akean Resorts Corporation (ARC) is the owner of a 430-hectare property in the Philippines that will initially develop a 270-hectare land - BORACAY NUEVO into a mixed-use Tourism Estate. ARC is seeking co-venture partners and operators to develop and manage a resort, residential and marine recreation community, which will be unique, in South East Asia. |
| |
Akean Resort’s Boracay Nuevo comprises around 430 hectares of land consolidated over the past years from smaller parcels. It has a 2.5 km long beach, lowlands, a large lagoonal lake surrounded by rice paddies and hilly land rising gradually to the south into mountainous land. The dominant aspect is to the north and northwest, yielding magnificent views of Boracay and Carabao Islands as well as of the beach areas within the site. |
| |
The main attractions include Boracay Island, limestone caves, waterfalls, mountains and springs, the agriculture and aquaculture activities of the surrounding countryside, events such as the Ati-Atihan festival in Kalibo and Ibajay, abundant marine life and coral formations, historic churches, and the art, craft, music, song, dance history and legends of the local people. |
